Another Adventure In Time

The Lone Ranger and Tonto.

I was a great fan in my youth. Watched every episode, huh, can’t figure out why I think I was born in the wrong century.
So needless to say, the news of the remake got my attention. The trailer is great. Don't worry about finding it.

I put it at the bottom, eh. No jumping ;^)

Women of the Wild West

Women of the Wild West

It is commonplace to hear the tales of gunmen such as Jesse James, Johnny Ringo, Billy the Kid and my newest entry, David Murphy, the main character of my book. “From the Ashes.”

Shameless plug, I know, it is my blog, eh. LOL.

Less known, yet part of the colorful Wild West are the women. Today I have a few interesting women to share with Ya’ll.

How about that picture of Raquel Welch? That's why it's called a Teaser Image, eh :)

Wild West Writing

Wild West Writing

What a great place, the mind of the Wild West Writer.
Four years passed while I worked on my first novel. A year of selling the manuscript, another year of publishing, editing, and waiting patiently. Ok, not so patiently.

Carter yelled out. “Hey, Boy! You wanted to be part of this, you count, 3, 2, 1. Johnstone, you shit! On one, we go! On one, you die!”
Johnstone nodded to the boy.
He counted. “3…”
The two men set their feet, shook the hands.
“2…”
Their shoulders faced each other, the stare of death given to each other.
“1…”

Fast Forward Patience

Giving up is not an option.

Fast Forward Patience

One serious annoying item on the list of a writer, is Patience.
A word that is more similar to fingernails on a chalkboard.

“You usually have to wait for that which is worth waiting for.”
Craig Bruce

Your story is a journey, writing is a journey, publishing is a journey, marketing... On and on guys, you can do it. Today I want to share a personal experience I hope can inspire you in your journey.

Social Media 101

Facebook & Twitter

In previous 101 topics I covered #Hashtags  & .@

Today it is linking your Facebook Author/Business Page to Twitter.

“Wait, Dave, I’m not a technical person.”

Then I’m glad you stopped in. My “101” is for you. When all is said and done you will smile and say, “that was easy.”

I have a day job, this blog, my book edits, and two other books in the infant stage. Marketing, branding, read articles, write articles, check on your followers blogs & tweets. Sound familiar?
Well this little shared piece of information can make two tasks one.
